“GH¢20,000 For Whoever Gives Information To Arrest Armed Robbers Who Killed A Police Officer And A Civilian”- Ghana Police Service

The Ghana Police Administration has placed a cash price of GH¢20,000 for whoever gives information that will lead to the arrest of the robbers who attacked a bullion van at James Town in Accra on Monday, 14 June 2021, resulting in the death of a policeman and a civilian.

Superintendent Mrs Sheila Kessie Abayie-Buckman, the director of public affairs of the Ghana Police Service, told the Daily Graphic on Tuesday that anyone whose information would lead to the arrest of any of the suspects would be given GH¢20,000.

According to an eyewitness, the robber who attacked the bullion van at James Town followed the bullion van in a taxi and on a motorbike, when reached a less crowded place, they started shooting indiscriminately killing a police officer, Emmanuel Osei and a pregnant woman, Afua Badu at a spot, also injured the driver driving the van.

However, investigations have started as the Ghana Police Administration has placed a GH¢20,000 on the heads of the robbers who attacked a bullion van at James Town.
